One of my grandsons thoughtfully sent to his Grammy  one of the things he had often heard me say I wanted -- a yellow Hummer. Since he and I had several long trips together, he heard me say it just about every time we passed one on the road, and we do seem to have a lot of them out here.

So, this weekend, I took it for a bit of off-roading: We got through that first canyon, but WOW!  those were some rocks!

Thought we'd surely get hung up on that big rock, but we came through with nary a scratch. But then...

  we found ourselves in this nightmarish jungle of cacti. Any of those thorns could have gone right through the windshield, but God was with us, and we got out of there and came home safely! What a great experience! Thanks, Andrew!
